Happy Easter everyone!
Easter, being the most important holiday for Christians, is spent mostly with family and friends, occasionally in the event of feasting together. There is nothing I desire more than going down to London and celebrating this holiday with my mom, sisters , cousins, nephews and nieces. I would be deeply engrossed in the egg hunt, looking for chocolate candy with my niblings and feasting on savory chicken wings.
Be body delightful in a figure-hugging, outline skimming bodycon dress. Pick a plain shirt for day and blend and match your lengths in midis and minis for a super sweet style. Be overcome in bodycon!
Floral dresses are a closet favourite as they are ultra-ladylike and can be worn in numerous seasons. Whether you’re hoping to wear little dainty daisies or gigantic blossoming perennials on your gown, florals are a go to for a relaxed, chic and edgy style.
I wore this floral body con, midi dress for a wedding back in December at Mitcham, South London. In my head I was asking myself if I could look stylish with my layers of hoodies and fur because of the cold, I just remembered a saying, “there’s no bad weather, only bad clothes.” I did not want the struggle of carrying knits and wearing jeans, after all, it was a wedding! I had to look the part.
For a simple but edgy twist, i paired the dress with black ankle strap heels that were really not that high, but insanely painful. When finding cut out heels, you must ensure that you purchase those that are comfortable and even if it means walking around in the store to see if they are right, do it!
See how the dress is hugging my body in all the right places! This would be perfect for a dinner or just an evening date. Since the dress is flashy, you need to look coordinated, so do not throw in all your jewelry pieces at a go. A simple silver or gold watch would do, with a few rings if you adore rings, and make sure that your nails are on point as well, with a good shade of polish.
I threw in this orange coat later in the night because the winter weather was starting to get a bit out of hand. S/O to my sister Esther from www.lovekept.co.uk and her man James for the lovely night!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Stay tuned to more blog posts, but most importantly, stay safe.
Happy Easter to everyone!
