SHEER-FINISH

Hey hey hey!

For starters, I hope you’ve all been great considering the occasional November showers we have been getting of late.

On the bright side, its usually not so cold but any slip up with your dressing, like forgetting to carry a sweater, you’ll get hit by H2O for sure!

Knowing me, when the water starts dripping heck I’m going to Kriss Kross that lol.

Sheer blouses are among my favourite closet staples right now, and you can wear them without feeling sleazy.

I really love this black sheer blouse that I thrifted for not less than Ksh. 50 in “gikomba” !! I know right, I can’t wait for the rains to stop so that I can get back there and dig me some more pieces.

The trick to wearing these sheer tops is that you should find a black bralette to pair under because a normal bra would not be great to look at, unless it’s those fitted sports bras or lingerie pieces.

Another tip for you would be confidence! Be confident enough to walk in a sheer top because it is comfortable for you and that’s all that matters.

I paired this sheer black blouse with these unfinished ripped jeans that I am so in love with. For a night out, you could trade the denim for some leather jeggings or a pair of black skinnies.

This look is also ideal for a casual date, and I opted for these pink kitten heels that are so comfortable, and you wouldn’t have to worry about getting some back up flats in case  your feet hurt. You could get them from Adams Arcade for Ksh. 300/= (ikr!!! the magic in thrifting is just ..)

You could throw over a trench coat , but who wants to kill the whole melanin factor going on?  Girl, you better learn how to kriss kross those showers when they begin.. I wore this silver spiked necklace over just to add some edge to the whole look.

I hope you enjoyed this post, do stay tuned for more, but most importantly, stay safe!

xx

Sincerely, Didi
