THE STYLED TEACHER

Happy new month!!!

For starters, I’ve changed my blog post days to every Monday & Thursday and I’ve left my YouTube videos set for each Friday.  Secondly, it’s my favourite month of the year because #birthmonth!!! I’ll be turning 21 in 25 days and I’ve never been so excited!

This outfit is inspired by reading a teacher’s outfit blog and  I think I must have pulled it off. The key to a teacher isnpired outfits, is defo simplicity, investing in neutral pieces like denim, florals, tights, fitted pants, knits, midi’s and comfy shoe picks / heels for that after class cocktail with the rest of the teachers.

I love this oversized vintage knit that belongs to my mother and they are the perfect mix for comfort and fun in an outfit. These knits come in different patterns and the fit is usually baggy or oversized with most being of cotton material.

This is a perfect Friday teacher outfit and I paired the vintage knit with a floral blouse and leather mini and teamed it up with my favourite pair of nude fringed heels.

I really loved how the whole look came out, simple, cute but still edgy and the only thing missing was a bunch of kids seated down with a chalk in my hand teaching a few things in life. I think I would be a good counsel teacher.

The look also stands by itself without the knit and I would defo throw over a leather jacket over it to switch up from the styled teacher to a casual dinner date.

I really do hope you enjoyed this post, do stay tuned for more , but most importantly, stay safe!!

For all the May babies out there, Happy birth month!!

xx

Sincerely, Didi
